Of all the PARSE Journal issues I have worked on, issue # 15 has possibly been the most drawn out one, but the last, fifth part has now been finalised and should be up on the website shortly. Gathered across the sub-themes of materiality, embodiment, aesthetics, environment and the state, these are certainly not easy to digest readings or viewings. Together they highlight that violence is all around us and often operates in unexpected and insidious ways.
